Steven Guy Gamble | Director of Africa Legal
Steven Gamble (English Solicitor) is a Director in the Johannesburg office of Africa Legal. Steven, born in Nairobi, Kenya, obtained his LLB from the University of Edinburgh in 1995, having previously obtained a BA (Honours) from the University of Stirling in 1991. Before Joining Africa Legal, Steven was part of Norton Rose’s international finance team and spent time in their London, Singapore and Hong Kong offices, before heading up their English Law banking and finance team in their Bangkok office. He is currently admitted to the law societies of England & Wales, Hong Kong and Scotland.
He has a wealth of experience in advising international and domestic banks and companies in relation to general banking, acquisition finance, syndicated loan and asset finance transactions.
His high profile clients have included AIG, Calyon, Deutsche Bank, ExxonMobil, Fortis Bank, GE Capital, HSBC, ING Bank, JPM Chase, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Siemens and UBS.
