Kevin Cron | Director, Africa Legal and Director, Deneys Reitz Inc.
Kevin Cron (South African attorney) is a director of both Africa Legal and Deneys Reitz (where he heads the Commercial Department). Kevin has extensive experience in banking and finance generally (particularly project finance) and corporate (including M&A), having advised the Joint Global Co-ordinators in respect of the IPO of Telkom. He also acted as South African legal counsel to the international banking community in respect of the South African Debt Moratorium and advised Alusaf on the Mozal Project, FNB on its merger with RMB, De Beers in respect of the restructuring of the Anglo American Group and advised the lenders in respect of the N3 and N4 Toll Road projects. Kevin also advised a consortium of bidders for the N4 Platinum Road and the lenders to the Louis Trichardt Maximum Security Prison project and was part of the advising team to the Impilo Consortium in respect of the Inkhosi Albert Luthuli Hospital.
Kevin has obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (1977), Bachelor of Laws (1979) and Master of Laws (Tax) (1984) from the University of the Witwatersrand.
