Our tax group supports clients in the energy sector on all areas of tax law across Europe (including the United Kingdom), Canada, Australia and South Africa. Our international tax group consists of 34 partners and has experience of a wide range of international transactions. We are familiar with current structuring techniques and can apply experience in one type of transaction or jurisdiction to find solutions in another. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the energy sector and have advised on a wide range of energy projects.
Tax regimes in relation to energy and the environment in which they operate change rapidly. Shifts in Governmental policy which result in a change to the taxation of energy projects can also raise significant issues and we are alive to these.
